Lake Mburo is located in western Uganda with a convenient location close to the highway. It is the smallest savanna national park of Uganda scattered with rocky ridges, forested gorges, papyrus swamps, and woodland lining lakes.

Day 1: ARRIVAL

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, a guide driver from Zzike tropical safaris will meet and warmly welcome you, then transfer you to the hotel for relaxation from the jetlag and then later will brief and highlight you about your 3 days lake Mburo national park safari.
Dinner and overnight at Victoria royal beach hotel in Entebbe.

 

Day 2: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO & BOAT TRIP

Wake up early enough for breakfast then embark on a journey to Lake Mburo. Drive southwest wards, make a stop at kayabwe for the equator experience of both the southern and northern hemispheres, take photographs and then proceed to Lake Mburo arriving in time for lunch. Check in, relax for lunch and in the afternoon head for a 2 hours boat trip which will reward us with an encounter to the aquatics like the hippos and crocodiles, water birds and many animals which gather to drink water from this Lake. Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight at

Day 3: GAME DRIVE & SALT LICK THEN DEPART

Early morning after a cup of tea/coffee we will go for a morning game drive where we will encounter game species like buffalos, warthogs, impalas, zebras, topis, water bucks, antelopes and a variety of birds. You will retire from the activity and return to the lodge for breakfast. After an hour’s rest you will go for a guided walk to the “salt lick” water point where many animals gather to lick the salty soils around the water point. Retire after 1 and a half hour from this activity, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon depart lake Mburo for Entebbe arriving in the evening to an agreed place or at the airport to catch your flight back home depending on your scheduled flight.
